George Padmore collection, 1924-2003.

The collection is comprised of the following: few articles by George Padmore published in the Labour Unity and Negro Champion newspapers, photographs and information about his family, manuscripts for "The Negro renaissance: Claude McKay- West Indian poet; Negro workers vote communist; And Soldiers fight against imperialism; Negro art in America," correspondence which indicate his financial hardships while at Fisk University and other materials making reference to Padmore.
